What you can expect

Hop onboard this whale-watching tour and spot humpback whales breaching off Lake Macquarie's iconic coast. Departing from Chalmers Street Jetty near Swansea Bridge, you'll set off on a custom-built boat that offers both shelter and top-notch water-level viewing of marine life. Along the way, learn from your accredited guide all about humpback whales and their epic migratory journey spanning 10,000 kilometres return from Antarctica to Tropical North Queensland. You might even catch sight of some other local marine life, such as long-nosed fur seals and common dolphins.
