Pure Milford takes you on a tour of Milford Sound in a luxury catamaran, the Gem of the Sound, with space to admire waterfalls and wildlife from a choice of 3 levels. Your local Pure Milford skipper provides a commentary on the history of Milford Sound, including its Maori significance and European settlement in the early 1800s. During your Milford Sound cruise, you have the opportunity for an impromptu shower on the outside deck of the Pure Milford catamaran as you get up close to the dramatic Stirling Falls.
Whatever the weather, Pure Milford in Milford Sound is an experience to remember with stunning waterfalls, wildlife and Fiordland rainforest. Your knowledgeable Pure Milford skipper knows all the hotspots for a glimpse of Milford Sound’s fur seals, bottlenose dolphins and the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin, so keep an eye out during the cruise. - This experience departs from the main visitor terminal in Milford Sound at 1.30pm. Please check in 20 minutes before departure.
- The scenic on-board Café/Bar serves up a variety of hot and cold refreshments throughout the cruise to keep those sightseeing hunger pangs at bay. Tea and coffee is complimentary.
