Whether you're planning to complete the track in the standard four-days and three-nights, or prefer to extend your journey up to seven-days, or even shorten it to two or three days, this Great Track & Pack Pass with Beachcomber Cruises is catered to accommodate your unique itinerary.

The Queen Charlotte Track, renowned for its breathtaking panoramas of the Marlborough Sounds and unspoiled New Zealand bush, caters to every hiker's budget. There are plenty of accommodation option, from camping grounds and backpacker hostels to five-star resorts. To optimise your experience, it is recommended to traverse the track from north to south and book your accommodation prior to departure from Picton.

Included in The Great Track & Pack Pass is a scenic boat transfer from Picton to Ship Cove, the starting point of the track, on day one of your hike. After multiple days of spectacular scenery and beautiful trails, Beachcomber Cruises will pick you up from Anakiwa, the end point of the Queen Charlotte Track (other pick up points available on request). Additionally, the pass includes luggage transfers along the track, allowing you to travel light with a maximum of 20kg per person.

  • Pick-up from Anakiwa on last day of hike for transfers back to Picton
  • Luggage transfers along the track - maximum 20kg per person
  • This pass does not include accommodation on the Queen Charlotte Track
  • QCTLC Pass (additional cost payable on the day)

  • Mountain bike transportation (small additional cost each way)
  • Option to stop at Motuara Island if travelling on the 8am departure for a small additional cost
  • Cruises depart at 9am all year round (additional 8am departure in summer Oct-Apr). Check in 30 minutes prior to departure
  • Return trip pick up time from Anakiwa is at 3:30pm
